WHERE I LIVE
“…Nisinman, an enigmatic half smile playing around his lips he coaxed
chromatic impossibilities from the tangle of buttons and fingers at his left hand and lower, throatier lines from the right.”
The Independent, UK
“Singer is perhaps the most intimate, sensitive filmmaker working today”
Broadcast Magazine
“Une création de Jorge Bosso digne d’illustrer un film de Tim Burton né fut pas éclipsée par Martha Argerich en solo”…
Diapason, progetto Martha Argerich
Where I live by Transtango is a unique contemporary tango music, film and dance performance inspired by stories of people on the move and migration.
Leading musicians, visual artists, film makers and dancers celebrate the powerful cultural transformation that is possible through art evoking the tango’s continuing journey within the context of today’s major cities.
Today tango is recognised around the world for its dance and distinctive musical style. But for those who created it, it was more than that, it was a whole culture, a way for immigrant communities in Buenos Aires to create a new common identity within the emerging city.
